Who is George? was written by Cheryl Ryan for the purpose of raising funds towards Maggie’s Dreamcatcher, a charity set up to build and fund a hospital in Northern India.
The book tells the story of a young girls dream to help a young sick boy living in Northern India in the village of Dharamsala. The family set out to raise money to build a hospital and travel over to visit the area. The story tells of the friendship that is formed between the girl, Maggie, and her new friend George and what can be achieved if we all work together.

Maggie’s Dreamcatcher Dharamsala Hospital Project Inc. (MDDHPI) has been formed for the sole purpose of assisting with the building and funding of a hospital in India in Dharamsala and to aid with the supply of volunteer doctors MDDHPI has teamed up with another charity called Red Lotus.
The hospital is called Tyuto Tantric University Hospital and was founded by Dr Hedda and Dr Claus Blumenroth with the support of H.H.Karmapa and H.H. Dalai Lama. Hedda and Claus have retired from their medical careers in Germany and as well as having donated all their medical equipment, they have invested just over $100,000 of their own money.
