New Zealand born, Dr Tanya Henderson graduated from Otago University School of Medicine in 2003. She worked at several hospitals in New Zealand before relocating to Queensland in 2006.

At Cairns Base Hospital, Tanya completed runs in Oncology/Haematology and Emergency Medicine. She then worked at Nambour General Hospital in 2007 studying Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Psychiatry until starting General Practice on the Sunshine Coast in 2008.

Tanya is studying towards the FRACGP exam in 2009.
