Dr Giselle Cramond

Dr Giselle Cramond
Dr Giselle Cramond was born and educated in Brisbane and studied Medicine at the University of Queensland, graduating in 1997. She completed her internship at the Mater Hospital, and then spent a year in Bundaberg (pre-Patel).

After having a break from Medicine to explore some other interests (and have a rest), Dr Cramond returned to the fray at the Mater and hasn’t looked back. She spent another two years there rotating through all fields including medicine, surgery, paediatrics and obstetrics.

For the last five years, Dr Cramond  has been at Greenslopes Private Hospital and gained further experience in the areas of adult medicine and surgery. She was awarded the Resident of the Year in 2003.

More recently Dr Cramond has worked in the Intensive Care and Coronary Care units and was involved in teaching Advanced Life Support (resuscitation) to the other doctors.

Dr Cramond’s move into General Practice in 2008 has been very fulfilling. She enjoys all areas and aspects of General Practice.

In her spare time, she spends time with her little Australian Terrier Ollie and enjoys reading, writing, art and shopping. Dr Cramond dreams of one day publishing a novel and owning an apartment in Paris.
