Dr Kate Myers was born and raised in north-west Queensland and went on to study at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. Graduating with Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery in 2004, Dr Myers completed her early post-graduate years at the Redcliffe & Caboolture Hospitals north of Brisbane. More recently she worked at The Prince Charles Hospital and Royal Children's Hospital in Brisbane before moving to General Practice in 2008.

Dr Myers is currently working towards Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Certificate in Primary Care - Skin Cancer Management. Dr Myers enjoys all aspects of general practice and is looking forward to extending her experience and skills in skin cancer medicine and travel medicine.

Dr Myers enjoys good food, overseas travel and spending time with friends and family.
