Dr Maree Lindsay was born & educated in Southland, NZ. She studied Medicine at the University of Otago, NZ, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery (MB ChB) in 1992.

Dr Lindsay initially spent 2 years working in hospitals in the South Island of NZ, and also a short period of time at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in WA. She worked in various fields of medicine including: general medicine and surgery, oncology, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine. She then started in general practice in 1995, in various locations including Invercargill, Queenstown, Auckland and Christchurch in NZ, and Port Pirie and Roxby Downs in SA.

Her general practice experience included time with a company in the UK during 2001-2002 providing comprehensive health assessments, as well as general practice services.

Dr Lindsay enjoys all aspects of general practice. She has special interests in Child and Women's Health, Minor Surgery, Preventative Medicine, and the Mind-Body connection, and its impact on our health. She has a Holistic approach to health care.

Dr Lindsay moved to the Sunshine Coast with her husband and two young children in 2008.
