Raised and schooled in Bundaberg, Dr Ryan studied medicine at the University of Queensland and graduated with Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery (MBBS) in 1988. He was awarded Fellowship of the College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1995. He commenced private practice on the Sunshine Coast in 1991 at the Ryan Plaza Medical Centre, Ocean Street, Maroochydore. When he combined practice with Dr Hodgkinson and Dr Pisasale in 1995, the practice was moved to its current location at Plaza Central.

Special Interest Areas

Diseases of the skin, sports and musculoskeletal medicine, surgical procedures, skin cancer surgery, skin grafts, skin flap repairs, vasectomies, haemorrhoid and rectal procedures,  treatment of varicose and spider veins, & recreational diving medicals.  

 

Dr Ryan has also completed a Diploma of Dermatology through the University of Wales in 2003.
