New Medicine On Second Forest Glen Surgery Opens

The new Medicine On Second Forest Glen opens Monday 5 Feburary 2007.
Medicine On Second is proud to announce the opening of their forest Glen surgery on Monday 5th February 2007. Medicine On Second - Forest Glen is located at 356 Mons Road, Forest Glen at the local Shopping Centre. The surgery hours will be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. After hours service will be available through our accedited locum service. Parking is available at the rear of teh shopping complex with the chemist also located in the same building.
Medicine on Second - Forest Glen will import the qualities of the principal Maroochydore surgery which the residents of Maroochydore have come to appreciate Dr Michael Ryan and Dr Roger Morris head a team of well known, local, experienced, general practitioners, offering an array of clinical services not available in Forest Glen to date.
Our services will include:
- Womens Health - advice on family plannng, menopause, sexual health, yearly check ups including pap smears and breast examinations;
- Men's health - prostate checks, vasectomies and lifestyle counseling;
- Children's health - immunizations and baby care;

- Skin Cancer checks;
- Travel Medicine;

Practice Manager Ms Nicky Jardine says the Forest Glen and teh Maroochydore practice, situated at 50 Second Avenue, are fully networked which means that patient records are ully accessable through both surgeries. This will enable patients to visit either practice at their convenience without transferring records, providing a great service for mum's out shopping at the plaza, to the working family living in the Forest Glen district but working in the CBD. Patients may book at either surgery for either surgery!
